VETERAN midfielder David Davis has signed a new deal to remain with Kidderminster Harriers in the National League next season.
The 35-year-old played a key role in helping Harriers achieve promotion from the National League North last season.
Davis scored seven goals and provided two assists in 37 appearances for Harriers last term and captained the side in the club’s play-off semi-final victory against Macclesfield.
Newly-appointed Harriers boss, Paul Wotton said: “He is a massive influence for us, both on and off the pitch.
“He is integral to what we are trying to achieve and this demonstrates his loyalty to Kidderminster Harriers after receiving significant offers and interest from other clubs.”
The midfielder previously made just under 200 appearances for Birmingham City in the Championship during a six-season stay.
He featured seven times for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League at the start of his career.
Davis later enjoyed loan spells at Walsall, Shrewsbury Town and Inverness Caledonian Thistle in Scotland.
Following his long spell with Blues he rejoined Shrewsbury on a permanent deal.
A brief spell with Forest Green Rovers and loan stint at Solihull Moors followed before he joined Harriers ahead of the start of the 2024/25 campaign.
