STOURPORT Hockey Club’s junior teams enjoyed a successful indoor season over the festive period.
The club’s under-12 girls team won bronze at the UK Indoor Championships held in Nottingham.
Stourport finished behind winners Knole Park and runners-up East Grinstead after beating Surbiton 4-1 in a play-off.
The under-12 girls also won the Repton Festival tournament.
Stourport’s under-14 girls lost all five of their group games but bounced back to win the Shield with victories against Cheltenham and Leek.
And goalkeeper Maita Taylor won the goalkeeper of the tournament after making a number of saves throughout the competition.
The under-14 boys won games against Gloucestershire and Havant and also claimed a draw against Knole Park in their five group matches.
And three of the club’s players – Harrison, Eden, Seren – represented Stourport with the UK Lions in Malaga over the Christmas period.
