AN APPEAL has been launched in a bid to get Tink, a four-month-old kitten, a second chance at life, writes Isabel Matthews.
The youngster was brought into Pawsitive Vet care in Hartlebury after she suffered a badly broken leg that sadly could not be repaired,
To save her life and prevent ongoing pain, the vets had to carry out a leg amputation.
With only three legs, Tink has already adapted to her new life and has been incredibly brave
Due to the veterinary practice being new and independent, the cost of Tink’s emergency care has been a struggle to keep on top of.
So far, the practice has managed to cover her initial treatment itself but ongoing treatment and hospital care is very expensive
Tink and Pawsitive vet care are now asking for Standard readers’ help by donating.
Every penny donated will go directly towards covering the costs of Tink’s recovery and surgery and any funds raised above Tink’s treatment cost will go towards helping other stray and abandoned animals, helping them to get the life they deserve back
Tink has the rest of her life ahead of her and with it is hoped she will be able to enjoy it,
Anyone who can help should visit: justgiving.com/crowdfunding/pawsitive-tink-kitten to donate.
The fundraising target for Tink’s treatment has been set at £750.
So far, more than £600 had been raised.
