A ‘FOOD for Local Causes’ charity night at the Courtyard Bar and Grill in Bewdley raised £700 for the Forest Dog Rescue, writes Matteo Pirelli.
More than 40 people attended and were treated to a fantastic evening organised by Dave Hughes which included tapas, raffles and auctions.
Dave has also undertaken various other fundraising events over the past two years under the banner ‘Food for Local Causes’.
The Courtyard donated everyone’s first round of drinks and provided staff to ensure the evening went smoothly.
Brynn Hazelwood, a trustee at Forest Dog Rescue, said: “We were delighted to be contacted by Dave and be the beneficiaries of the evening.
“It costs £35,000 per month to run the charity and we completely rely on donations and fundraising events.
“Dave and the team at the Courtyard treated everyone to a wonderful evening of great food and drinks and we are so grateful for their support.”
