A VARIETY of Christmas events have been organised by Kidderminster Town Council throughout the festive season.

At the Town Hall tomorrow (Saturday, December 6), there will be a magical day in store when Father Christmas and his helpers arrive at the venue.

The family-friendly event, which takes place between 9.30am and 3pm with a quiet session for neurodivergent children between 9.30am and midday, is completely free thanks to Kidderminster Town Council which organised it with support from Wyre Forest District Council.

Every child who visits Father Christmas will receive a free gift.

Then next Sunday, December 14, the Mayor of Kidderminster, Coun Doug Hine, will hold his annual Christmas Carol Concert at St Mary and All Saints Church, Churchfields.

The event, which will feature all the classic carols, takes place at 4pm.

Everyone is welcome to go along and enjoy the seasonal songs, the community spirit and festive cheer.

Also in attendance will be the Mayor of Bewdley, Coun Nicole Harper and the chairman of Wyre Forest District Council, Coun Paul Harrison.
