THE FIRST ever Belbroughton School Sponsored Colour Run took place before the pupils broke up for half-term.
The event was organised by parent Stacey Scott and the PTA and was held to raise funds for the PTA’s Playground Project.
The scheme aims to develop the school’s playground into a more inclusive and enjoyable environment for all children.
Sponsorship was received from local businesses and the children raised extra cash by asking family and friends to sponsor them.
Headteacher Clare Bishop said everyone had a fantastic time.
“It was great fun with parents, children and even the local vicar, Rev Chloe Hewitt, getting involved.”
