Could you 'Adopt a Street' in Kidderminster, Stourport or Bewdley?

Kidderminster Editorial 1st Mar, 2026

COMMUNITY-minded residents across Wyre Forest are being urged to sign up to the ‘Adopt a Street’ campaign to help make a difference in their local area.

People volunteer themselves and teams are put together for each street to keep it looking clean and tidy.

Residents can choose any street or area they care about.

Each Adopt a Street team carries out just three litter-picks per year at times which suit them and all litter equipment and black bags are provided by Wyre Forest District Council free of charge.

Those who sign up will receive regular updates about community projects, environmental schemes and ways to get involved in making Wyre Forest even better.

A Wyre Forest District Council spokesperson said: “Thank you to everyone who’s already signed up to Adopt a Street – you’re making such a difference.

“But we know there are more community heroes out there.

“Every action counts and every street matters.
