Criminal Behaviour Order bans man from shop in Kidderminster

Kidderminster Editorial 12th Oct, 2025

AN UNRULY man has been banned from several shops across the county, including Dixy Chicken in Comberton Hill, Kidderminster.

Sam White, aged 19, of no fixed abode was given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Worcester Magistrates Court last Thursday.

The CBO follows convictions for multiple thefts within Worcester city centre, in particular Tesco Express in Foregate Street. He also behaved in a disorderly manner, being abusive, threatening to shop staff and causing significant alarm and fear to members of the public.

White was handed the CBO for three years, which prohibits him from entering Tesco Express, Foregate Street, or being in the area directly outside.

He is also prevented from entering Co-op, Worcester Road, Malvern, refusing to leave an area or premises when asked by someone who has authority to do so and behaving in a manner that causes a nuisance in the community within Worcester city centre.

Sgt Sarah England, of West Mercia Police, said: “We are pleased the court has granted a CBO against White whose anti-social behaviour and thefts have impacted shops and businesses in the city and further afield, and caused alarm and distress to members of the public.”

She urged anyone who sees White breaching the terms of his CBO to report it via: westmercia.police.uk or by calling 101.
