SEVERN Valley Railway is set to welcome people back for the start of the 2026 season on Valentine’s Day and ahead of the February half-term break.

The public services will first be available on Saturday and Sunday, February 14 and 15.
It will then re-open between Tuesday and Thursday, February 17 and 19, during which time there will be pre-bookable Paddington visits at The Engine House.
And, after closing on Friday, the Severn Valley Railway will re-open on Saturday and Sunday, February 21 and 22.
Youngsters can also let off steam in the outdoor play area or get hands-on sorting mail in the travelling post office at The Engine House.
Along the route, cafes and gift shops at Bridgnorth, Highley and Kidderminster will also be open.
Lewis Maddox, visitor engagement manager at the Severn Valley Railway, said: “A visit to the Severn Valley Railway is about so much more than just a train journey.
“We want families to slow down, explore together and discover all the little moments along the line – whether that’s playing at The Engine House, meeting a favourite character, or simply enjoying time together on the platform.
“It’s those shared experiences that help families make lasting memories.”
