A FLOOD alert has been issued for Kidderminster and Stourport following heavy rainfall.
The announcement on the Gov.uk website said forecast rising river levels on the River Stour may lead to flooding today (November 12.)
Flooding may affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the river from Caunsall to Stourport.
Other locations that may be affected include Wolverley and Cookley, Blakedown and Kidderminster.
A statement said: “We are closely monitoring the situation .
“Take care and avoid walking, cycling or driving through flood water and monitor local water levels and weather conditions.”
