THERE will be live music at Stourport’s Riverside Meadows from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday, August 24.
The tow-tapping afternoon of folk, jigs and reels is part of Wyre Forest District Council’s Summer of Music.
The event is free to attend and will feature The Jamesons, including incredibly talented Barret Hadley. He was recently crowned ‘Best Multi-Instrumentalist in the Wyre Forest’.
Sharon Hill will also be performing during the event at the bandstand.
The event has been billed as ‘the best in traditional folk with the sounds of guitar, banjo, mandolin and whistles filling the air’.
People are urged to bring their friends, a picnic and their dancing shoes.
