STOURPORT will be getting into the festive spirit with the town’s Christmas lights switch-on and Three Kings Parade tomorrow (Friday, November 21).
The annual Three Kings Parade will assemble in the car park behind the Civic Centre between 5.15pm and 5.30pm.
At 6pm, the parade will begin and will go from the car park off Martins Way to New Street and then on to the High Street.
The parade will then carry on to Lion Hill, then over to York Street, back to New Street and will finish off back at the Civic Centre car park.
Between 5.50pm and 8pm, all the roads in the parade, as well as Bridge Street, will be closed.
The parade will briefly stop at Villeneuve-Le-Roi gardens to switch on the Christmas tree lights.
Once at the front of the Civic building, there will be a Christmas carol service, followed by a firework display around 7.15pm.
The Christmas Carols being sung include Away In A Manger and We Three Kings.
Other festive entertainment will include a craft fayre at the Civic Hall and hot food and drink stalls.
And there will also be the town’s best dressed shop window competition, with the winner being announced on Wednesday, November 26.
