Hit and Run - Cyclist suffers serious injuries in Kidderminster crash

A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a hit and run crash involving a small red car and a bike in Kidderminster.

The collision, involving a man in his 60s who was riding the bike, happened on Franche Road in Wolverley around 7.15am on October 1. The car drove off from the scene.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent one ambulance and the cyclist was being cared for by police and an off-duty paramedic.

He was assessed by ambulance staff and had sustained serious injuries. He received trauma care from ambulance staff at the scene before being conveyed to Worcester Royal Hospital for further treatment.
