KIDDERMINSTER held its annual Remembrance Sunday Parade and Service earlier today.
Those in the parade mustered at New Road Car Park and then made its way to the War Memorial at St Mary and All Saints.

In the parade were members of the Kidderminster Royal British Legion and other armed forces servicemen and women past and present.

Also lining up were community groups, including Scouts and Girl Guides.

At the memorial, the annual service was held which was attended by veterans who had served in conflicts.

Prayers were said before The Exhortation and a two-minute silence to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the two World Wars and other conflicts.

Wreaths were laid at the memorial and Kidderminster Male Choir also performed as part of proceedings.

Kidderminster Town Council said; “A huge thank you to everyone who participated in and attended this year’s Kidderminster Remembrance Parade and Service.
“It was truly moving to see such an incredible turnout from across our community, all coming together to honour those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.
“Kidderminster once again showed its unity, gratitude, and pride as we remembered the bravery of those who gave everything for our country.
“Your support and respect made today’s commemoration deeply special.”
