WYRE Forest Police increased patrols across Kidderminster and Stourport last month to keep people safe during the busy season.
Throughout December, officers boosted police presence in the two towns and increased community engagement.
These hotspot patrols were carried out to engage with members of the community and businesses in the respective areas. Officers liaised with staff for reassurance and to gather any new intelligence/information that had come to light.
Among the many areas patrolled were Stourport – Bridge Street/High Street and New Road, Comberton Hill, Horsefair and Worcester Street in Kidderminster.
Any offences identified were dealt with by the patrolling officers as part of the force’s Safer Streets Winter of Action campaign.
Officers said: “We will continue similar patrols this month as we do every day to keep our communities safe and protect you from harm.”
