KIDDERMINSTER’S business improvement district (BID) team collected nine bags of rubbish as part of its latest litter pick, writes Chinaza Eke.
Chris and Ricky headed out in Kidderminster town centre, tidying the streets in an effort to keep the town cleaner and safer for residents.
The litter was collected across Worcester Street, New Road and Oxford Street.
BID members, who also picked weeds and cleaned up footpaths, said the sunshine made the task more enjoyable.
They came across a number of weird and wonderful items, including a crisp packet dating back to 2004, a kettle and a stash of security tags.
