Kidderminster boy arrested after 'attempted motorbike theft'

A KIDDERMINSTER boy was arrested after police responded to a report of an attempted motorbike theft in Burntwood.

Officers were called into action when three people were reportedly trying to steal a motorbike on Edwards Road on Sunday, May 24.

Local officers quickly arrived at the scene and began looking for the suspects.

Two men were detained and searched in the area, where officers found a balaclava and gloves.

A further man was tracked down later on.

A 17-year-old boy from Kidderminster was arrested on suspicion of attempted vehicle theft.




Two 15-year-old boys, one from Rugeley and another from Lichfield, were also arrested on suspicion of the same offence.

They were all questioned in custody and bailed with conditions while enquiries continue.
