THE SOUNDS of the season will be coming to Blakedown Parish Hall at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 4, when Kidderminster Male Choir performs its latest concert.
The Sweet Sound of Autumn will feature a varied programme of all-time favourites.
The choir will be hitting the high notes with Simon and Garfunkel classics Sound of Silence and Bridge Over Troubled Water, along with Cwm Rhondda, Suo Gan and Salon Lan from the Welsh repertoire. There will also be famous hits including Rhythm of Life and Bohemian Rhapsody.
The uplifting evening of song is being given on behalf of the Friends of Churchill Church to raise funds towards ongoing work to preserve and enhance the historic building for future generations.
A Kidderminster Male Choir spokesman said: “We are looking forward to entertaining a packed hall of music lovers with our beautiful blend of four-part harmonies, designed to refresh and inspire.
“It will be an opportunity to celebrate live music, friendship and charity, and a bar will be available for guests during the evening.”
