KIDDERMINSTER Town Council has moved to reassure residents over concerns over temporary tarmac outside the front of the town hall.
The issue was caused by the relocation of a meter by Cadent Gas as part of utility works.
The town council added it had already paid for these works and Cadent was responsible for reinstating the surface.
The council said in a statement: “Cadent has confirmed it is sourcing replacement stone to match the original finish and will be carrying out the repairs as soon as possible.
“We appreciate residents bringing this to our attention and thank you for your patience while this is resolved.”
