A KIDDERMINSTER man has been charged with offences, including assaulting a police constable, after an incident where a flurry of blue light cars swarmed a town road.
Taylor Scarle-Pearsall, of Whinchat Grove, Kidderminster, was charged with assaulting a constable in the execution of duty, as well as another count of assault and theft of a dwelling.
The 23-year-old was also charged with criminal damage valued under £5000.
The charges are in relation to an incident at Willow Court in Kidderminster on January 13, during which at least eight police cars were spotted attending the scene.
Videos of the incident were posted all over social media by concerned residents.
One woman, who was visiting her mother, said she was worried after seeing loads of police cars arrive one after the other.
Scarle-Pearsall is set to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates’ Court on February 27.
