A NEW outdoor learning area, complete with shelter, has been unveiled at Wolverley Sebright Primary Academy in Kidderminster.
The new area is thanks to generous support from the Sebright Trust and grant funding.
The school says this valuable addition will significantly enhance its educational provision by offering diverse and engaging ways for youngsters to learn outside the classroom.
Early years lead, Mrs Harrison, successfully secured the additional grant funding, demonstrating exceptional dedication to the project.
Head of school James Price said: “The continued support from the Sebright Trust is invaluable.
“We are excited to make the most of the new space.”
Shelley Reeves-Walters, executive head for primary schools in Severn Academies, highlighted the new facility’s broad impact. She added: “This new learning space will increase the school’s ability to take learning outside of the classroom.
“It will be particularly beneficial for forest school and physical education sessions and will be beneficial for the entire school community.”
The permanent, sheltered space will allow students to connect learning with nature, regardless of the weather.
