THE INVESTIGATION into a woman being kicked and robbed in Kidderminster has been closed after no suspect was identified.
At around 1pm on Friday, October 3, a woman was walking along the canal towpath between Sainsbury’s and the Post Office, just off Carpet Trades Way.
She was approached by two boys on mountain bikes who were wearing dark clothing and face coverings.
One of the boys kicked the victim, meaning she fell to the floor, which resulted in her being unconscious.
When she got up from the floor, her handbag and its contents had been stolen.
West Mercia Police had initially released an appeal for information that could help identify the two boys involved in the robbery.
However, the investigation has since been closed due to no suspect being identified, pending further investigative opportunities becoming available.
The victim has been informed that the case has been closed.
