THERE was a great turnout of volunteers at the latest work session in the Wyre Forest, organised by the local Forestry England group.
The organisers said the response by people led to a lot getting done and they added: “A special shout out to the team from National Highways who joined us.”

The group created several mini beast habitats using windblown tree limbs and also managed to clear fallen leaves from a large areas of our recreation hub.
“This not only makes the tarmac areas safer for our visitors but also allows the grassed areas to recover over the winter months.
“We really do appreciate all the help form our volunteers.”
