A NEW family-run business officially opened its doors in Stourport last Saturday.

The Mayor of Stourport, Coun John Thomas, led the celebrations at ALH Crafts and Printing on York Street.

Residents and supporters gathered at York Street for the Mayor’s official opening ceremony, marking an important milestone for the town’s newest independent business.

ALH Crafts and Printing offers a wide range of personalised items including custom T-shirts, workwear, mugs, gifts and laser-engraved products. The business has already generated excitement locally, with many residents attending the grand opening to show their support.

The opening was seen as another positive step for Stourport’s town centre and the arrival of a new independent retailer adding to the vibrancy of the high street.

One of the firm’s owners said the day marked the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the family business.

They said they were incredibly proud to officially open ALH Crafts and Printing.

“This has been a dream we have worked hard to bring to life, and it means so much to see the support from the local community.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming customers old and new and helping them create something special.”

Visitors throughout the day were invited to browse the new premises, explore the range of custom-made products and meet the team behind the business.

The firm is expected to become a welcome addition to the town’s growing independent business community.
