‘SMALL but spectacular’ will be celebrated at the Severn Valley Railway during the popular upcoming Model Railway Weekend on May 2 and 3.
The event takes place at The Engine House Visitor Centre and promises a fascinating journey into the world of model railways.
Guests will begin their experience with a full-size heritage train ride to Highley station before stepping into a showcase of intricate miniature layouts and displays.
Around 30 of the UK’s most popular model railway exhibits will be on display, offering something for enthusiasts of all scales, from O Gauge and OO Gauge to N Gauge and even smaller creations.
The extravaganza is perfect for everyone – whether a seasoned hobbyist or simply curious – there will be an engaging and detailed look at the craftsmanship behind these tiny railways.
Entry to the Model Railway Weekend is included with travel tickets, making it a great day out, combining heritage travel with hands-on discovery.
Lewis Maddox, visitor engagement manager at the Severn Valley Railway, said: “The Model Railway Weekend is always a highlight in our events calendar.
