A TALK on the History of Mineral Water and Lemonade Bottles is being given at Kidderminster Cricket Club at 2pm on Tuesday, March 24.
The presentation is being given by expert Pete Jennings who is a bottle collector.
The collecting of old bottles has become a big hobby across the country and there are many collectors’ clubs around Britain.
But, there is a significant absence of one in Worcestershire and this part of the Midlands so Pete, who has been a collector for many years, is interested in forming one for the Kidderminster area.
The group would meet monthly or bi-monthly and an idea for an annual bottle fair has also been mooted.

The talk on Tuesday is the latest in a series of talks organised by the Wyre Forest History and Research Group.
Admission, including tea, coffee and biscuits at the end, is £3 per person.
