COMMUNITY-minded cubs from the 18th Areley Kings group collected five bags of rubbish during a litter pick last Wednesday.

The 26 youngsters put in an amazing effort in The Walshes, Stourport and the area around their Scout Hut and Community Centre.

Karen Blanchfield BEM, who is the 18th Areley Kings cub team lead volunteer, a Keep Britain Tidy Ambassador and the founder of the Little Litter Warriors, said: “They were all so enthusiastic.
“It’s so inspiring to see young minds showing such dedication and passion towards making a difference.

“They were eager to clear every piece of litter – by the end, the whole area was sparkling.”
