The Winter Steam Gala was a fitting finale of the season, with rounds of applause as trains crossed Victoria Bridge.
Bright blue skies and frost left visitors in awe.
One of SVR’s volunteer photographers, Keith Wilkinson, said: “I’ve been photographing steam locomotives at the SVR since the 1980s, and this was one of the best galas I’ve recorded.”
