PLANS have been lodged to turn office space in Kidderminster into 20 flats.
The application, by Droitwich Housing Ltd, aims to transform property numbers 17 to 25 on Vicar Street, into apartments.
Plans were submitted to Wyre Forest District Council on the authority’s planning portal this week.
Submitted drawings suggest there will be seven flats on the first floor, five on the second floor and four on each of the third and fourth floors.
Should the application go through, the development would be a mix of one- and three-bedroom flats.
The accommodation would be above several shops including Superdrug, TG Jones and the Post Office, as well as the former Trespass store.
The proposed site is less than five minutes’ walk from the Swan Shopping Centre.
