THE PLAY area at Kidderminster’s new Talbot Park has been vandalised.
The discovery was made by Wyre Forest District Council this morning.
The authority said it was disappointed by the destruction.
“This recently opened space was created for local families, children and visitors to enjoy, and damage like this impacts the whole community.
“Repairs also come at a cost to taxpayers and take resources away from other improvements across the district.”
A team from the council was on site this morning to clear the area and carry out repairs.
The incident has been reported to West Mercia Police.
