POLICE in Kidderminster spent time outside the town’s Sainsbury’s on Friday after concerns were raised about anti-social driving in the area.
PC Ryder and PC Eurell were responding to incidents which happened in the evening and overnight.
Between 11pm and 1am, officers spoke with lots of members of the public, offering advice and handing out information on anti-social driving.
They also met with store management to discuss their concerns and the impact this behaviour was having on the supermarket’s employees who were working during unsociable hours.
A spokesperson for Wyre Forest Police said: “We want to reassure the community that anti-social behaviour in this area is being monitored and actively dealt with.
“We will continue working closely with local businesses and residents to keep the area safe for everyone.”
Anyone who witnessed anti-social behaviour in the area should report it by calling police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
