CONCERNS have been raised about unacceptable behaviour after further reports of vehicle crime in Kidderminster.
West Mercia Police have received numerous reports of cars being broken into over the past two weeks.
Last week, a police appeal was launched after cars were broken into on Franche Court Drive, Lowe Lane, Marlpool Lane and St Johns Avenue in Kidderminster.
Since then, further reports have come in that similar crimes have taken place on the Offmore and Comberton estates.
Coun Liam Carroll said he had received numerous reports of car handles being tried in Comberton.
“This is completely unacceptable. I will be raising this with the local policing team and pushing for action.
“If you’ve experienced anything or have information, please message me privately so I can ensure it’s reported.”
PC Ryan Bridgewood, who works in North and East Kidderminster, said these crimes were taking place between midnight and 6am.
A West Mercia police spokesperson said the force was committed to tackling vehicle crime.
“We are advising residents in Kidderminster to remain vigilant and take extra security measures following a recent increase in reports of vehicles being broken into across the town.
“We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or who may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious.”
He urged residents with any CCTV or doorbell footage around the time of the thefts to contact officers by visiting: westmercia.police.uk or by calling 101.
Alternatively, call 0800 555 111 or visit: crimestoppers-uk.org to report information anonymously to Crimestoppers.
