DRIVERS in Kidderminster have been warned to be on their guard after a theft from a vehicle in one incident and a man was seen trying to enter unattended cars in another.

Between 9pm last night (Sunday) and 2am this morning (Monday), a vehicle was entered while it was parked on Tynings Close.

A torch and small change were stolen from inside.

In the other incident, a man was spotted in Mill Street around 5am on Sunday, trying to gain access to vehicles. It is unknown if any items were stolen on that occasion.

West Mercia Police are investigating and have urged witnesses or anyone with information on the incident to call officers on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

The force is reminding motorists to remove all valuables from their vehicles if they are leaving them unattended for any length of time and ensure they are locked.

Always dial 999 if a crime is in progress.
