SHARP police were quick to react as a prolific shoplifter was arrested in Kidderminster in less than five minutes.
Last Sunday, following a report from a member of the public, Kidderminster Safer Neighbourhood Officers were called after a prolific shoplifter stole items from a shop in the town centre.
The shop called 999 to report the crime, and just four minutes later, the person was stopped and arrested.
A spokesperson for Kidderminster Safer Neighbourhood Team thanked the member of the public who called them to the scene.
