THE COUNTDOWN is on to Broadwaters Mill Park’s Christmas lights switch-on which promises plenty of festive cheer, say organisers,
The seasonal event will take place from 3pm to 5.30pm on Saturday, December 6, at Broadwaters Mill Park on Stourbridge Road.
With mulled wine, mince pies and a whole assortment of refreshments, the event is bound to provide some winter warmth.
The programme includes live music from local band Jack and Doris, Christmas carols from St Oswalds Primary School and a festive community singalong.
Santa’s Walkabout is set to follow the switch-on promising sweet treats and goodies, and a chance to meet the man in the big red suit himself.
The seasonal event, full of family fun, is free and open to all, though donations are welcome.
