PEOPLE and families across Wyre Forest can celebrate the life of someone special and raise funds for KEMP Hospice by dedicating a butterfly in their memory.
The 2025 KEMP Butterfly Release will take place from 10.30am to 11.30am on September 13 in the beautiful grounds of Bodenham Arboretum.
Now in its fourth year, the peaceful and poignant event provides a great way to remember lost loved ones.
The release will feature a service of remembrance, including poetry and songs from the famous Kidderminster Male Choir, before participants are invited to collect their butterfly from the KEMP team.
As the warmth awakes the butterfly from its rest, it will take flight, symbolising a heartfelt tribute and symbol of remembrance.
By donating, people and families will ensure the hospice’s services can continue and be there for anyone in the Wyre Forest community with a life-limiting illness when they need KEMP the most.
A spokesperson for the charity added: “Your generosity means we will continue to be by our patients, their family and loved ones for today and the future.
“At KEMP Hospice, we understand how deeply the loss of a loved one can be felt – not only in the moments following their passing, but in the ongoing journey of grief that follows.
“Every day, we help individuals and families across the Wyre Forest, providing care to those living with life-limiting illnesses and supporting those coping with bereavement through our specialist services.”
