THERE will be plenty of free and low cost activities in Wyre Forest to help families get out and about.
People of all ages can discover the wonder of nature with Forestry England amidst vibrant carpets of bluebells and wildflowers.
Wildlife is becoming more active in the spring with fresh leaves unfurling on the trees. Birdsong is filling the air and butterflies on the wing, creating a magical atmosphere.

With the Room on the Broom trail, families can step into Julia Donaldson’s beloved story and enjoy this enchanting and interactive family walk.
The route is packed with Room on the Broom‑themed activities, fascinating forest facts and plenty of hands‑on fun.
Young adventurers are tasked with helping Witch find her lost hat, bow and wand and collect magical ingredients to complete her spell.
Trail packs are available for just £4.
Parking fees may apply but is free for members.

There is also a free Room on the Broom craft event from 10am to 4pm on April 8 in the Visitor Centre.
Activities include making cress cauldrons, crafting broomsticks, colouring, and plenty more hands-on fun.
Giants Trail Easter egg hunt
And an Easter egg hunt will take place on the Giants Trail from March 28 to April 12.

Children can hunt for hidden Easter eggs, reveal answers at each stop and complete a set of forest facts along the way. Pick up a trail leaflet – at just £2.50 – from the
Information Pod, which is open daily from 10am to 3pm.
Those who complete the trail can collect a free Easter goodie bag as a reward for their efforts.
And there are feelgood forest trails with WWF which enable families reconnect with nature.
The interactive trail, created with the WWF, is perfect for children aged between six and 12.
Themed panels along the route will spark curiosity and imagination, with activities to help families explore the wonders of England’s forests and compare them to those of the Amazon rainforest.
