MULTIPLE attempts were made to enter cars and homes in Kidderminster overnight.
Police are investigating attempts being made on various vehicles in Kidderminster North in the early hours of Wednesday, July 15.
The attempts were all made between 3am and 4am.
A Land Rover Discovery was entered on Shrewsbury Road, and a Ford Focus on Truro Drive, Habberley, where untidy searches were made in each vehicle.
Nothing of note was stolen, but both vehicles were parked on driveways and were left with doors wide open.
Police were then made aware of two men, seen wearing dark grey tracksuits and balaclavas, attempting to get into the back of properties in Woodland Avenue and Fairfield Lane in Wolverley.
They believe there was a waiting getaway car, possibly a dark BMW saloon.
Both of these attempts were thwarted by neighbours and owners’ dogs that were in the property, raising the alarm.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: “We want to reassure residents we are doing everything we can to trace those responsible.”
