A NEW dedicated trail running group for women to run and socialise together is set to start in Bewdley.
The first event – due to a new partnership with This Woman Runs (TWR) – takes place at 8.30am this Sunday, September 7.
Participants should meet at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre and will then embark on this week’s route which is 3km.
Led by TWR’s trained volunteers, known as Run Angels, the 30-minute sessions are designed for women of all abilities.
The sessions are suitable whether women are new to trail running or a seasoned runner looking for a change of scenery.
The groups offer a low-pressure, inclusive environment where participants can enjoy the magic of forest trails.
The organisers said: “It will be a zero-pressure, chatty 30-minute run through the gorgeous forest, led by our amazing Run Angels.”
