Two people charged over robberies and thefts in Kidderminster and Stourport

TWO PEOPLE have been charged in connection with a number of offences in the Stourport-on-Severn and Kidderminster.

Thomas Harris, aged 38 of York Street, Stourport-on-Severn, has been charged with 14 offences in connection with a number of incidents between April and September.

There were seven thefts from shops, including Spar in Stourport (April 27), Asda service station, Stourport (May 9), Tesco Express, Bewdley Hill, Kidderminster (June 2), ReGenerate, Kidderminster (June 17), Tesco Stourport (August 9) and the Mid Counties Co-op (August 28 and September 5).

There was also an assault a Spar on Lower Lickhill Road, Stourport, on April 27, a robbery on Stourport High Street on May 18 and causing racially or religiously aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress at Morrisons Daily, Worcester Road, Stourport on June 11.

The others included possession of Class A drug (cocaine) on June 18, intimidating a witness on July 14, attempted theft from Select and Save on August 11, robbery on York Street, Stourport, on September 7.

Natalie Wood, aged 45, also of York Street, Stourport-on-Severn, has also been charged with robbery in connection with the incident on York Street, Stourport on September 7.




And she is charged with theft from ReGenerate in Kidderminster on 17 June.

Harris has been remanded in custody and appeared at Kidderminster Magistrates Court today (Thursday, September 11).


Wood has been bailed to appear at court at a later date.
