A CAR was seized in Kidderminster for not being insured after police spotted the driver trying to evade them.
Officers from Kidderminster East and North Safer Neighbourhood Team spotted a vehicle which tried to evade them on Wednesday on Merton Close.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver was detained for a stop search.
Local police dog Thor also attended and the vehicle was searched.
Officers found the car was not insured so it was seized for having no insurance.
The driver – a man in his 20s – was reported for not driving in accordance with their licence.
The car will remain impounded until the owner can produce the correct documentation to retrieve it.
