THE THREE men who officers were trying to track down after the Stourport stabbing on Saturday have now been identified.

The attack took place at The Bridge Inn on Bridge Street where a 34-year-old man suffered a minor injury. He was taken to hospital and later discharged.

Yesterday, police released a picture of three men who were believed to have been in the area at the time of the incident.

Det Sgt Craig Tennant from West Mercia Police’s Reactive CID said: “Enquiries are continuing to progress after identifying three men who were believed to be in the area at the time of the incident, and we are looking to make an arrest in the coming days.

“Thankfully, the victim did not suffer serious injuries as a result of the stabbing and was quickly discharged from hospital.

“We believe those involved are known to each other and are content there is no wider risk to the community.”
