POLICE are investigating after a lamp post supporting a council CCTV camera was sawn off in Stourport.
The vandals struck with an angle grinder at 6.10pm yesterday (Saturday) on Abberley Avenue.
The culprit came from and exited down an alleyway opposite Whitley Way.
The man involved was 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and had short dark brown hair. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a two tone turquoise hoodie, black gloves and black and white trainers.
Residents living in the area are being urged to check their CCTV or ring doorbell footage to see if anything has been caught. Information can be reported to police by calling 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
