A FREE event for World Book Day will take place at Kidderminster Town Hall at 11am on Saturday, March 7.
Local children’s author and illustrator Helen Wendy Cooper will run a workshop and book signing for children to celebrate the occasion.
She will read from her best-selling book ‘The Kissing Tree’ and there will be a rhyming game, poems and creative activities.
Helen has previously worked a judge on CITV’S Share a story and BBC Radio 2’s 500 words
She is currently writing and illustrating a picture book called The Little Hedgehog and a brand new book series called Clumsy Charlotte.
The event has been organised by Kidderminster Town Council.
