Wyre Forest Scouts offer Christmas postal service to Kidderminster, Wolverley and Cookley

Tristan Harris 27th Nov, 2025

WYRE Forest Scouts will once again be offering residents their chance to have their Christmas cards delivered to raise funds for the group.

Cards will be delivered within the district to Kidderminster, Wolverley and Cookley with the last posting date being on December 19.

Stamps per card are 50p each and cards will be guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas Eve.

Stamps can be bought from certain places across Kidderminster, Wolverley and Cookely and there are ‘postal’ drop off points for cards in the three areas as well.

The activity also helps the scouts, squirrels, cubs, beavers and explorers attain their community badges.

The group will be holding a pop-up stand in Weavers Wharf next Saturday and the following one, December 6 and 13.

Andy Brooks, District Lead Volunteer for Wyre Forest Scouts, said: “The Christmas Post is a great fundraiser for the scout groups within the district but is also a very important service for the community that reduces social isolation and helps to spread a little festive cheer.”

Drop off points and stamp sale outlets are listed at: facebook.com/wyreforestscouts and at: wyreforest.scoutsonline.co.uk/ – the group’s website.
