Youngsters from Kidderminster's Little Trinity Nursery spread Christmas cheer with library card scheme

THE LITTLE Trinity Nursery has been spreading some Christmas cheer by taking part in the Kidderminster Library card appeal.

The ‘tiny artists with big hearts’ have been bringing joy to the town this Yuletide and the halls of Little Trinity Nursery have been buzzing with festive creativity.

The youngsters have been busy colouring, painting and sprinkling holiday magic onto Christmas cards for this year’s annual festive drive.

Little Trinity Nursery manager, Gaynor Carter, said: “Every year, our children love getting involved in this wonderful tradition.

“They create beautiful cards which Kidderminster Library delivers to elderly and housebound members of our community.

“It’s a simple gesture that brings so much joy and the library even lends books to make the season extra special.”

This heartwarming activity also gives the children a chance to show off their artistic flair, practise their writing skills and experience the joy of giving.

There were a variety of designs created – from glittery snowflakes to cheerful Santas as the little learners made each card with love.

Gaynor added: “The children have had an amazing time.

“They’ve laughed, learned, and created something truly meaningful.

“Supporting the Christmas card appeal is such a worthwhile cause as it helps spread festive cheer to those who might otherwise feel alone during the holidays.”
