GOALKEEPER Christian Dibble has confirmed his departure from Kidderminster Harriers in a post on social media.

Dibble starred between the sticks for Harriers last season as the shot-stopper helped the club secure a return to the National League.

The 32-year-old joined Kidderminster in January 2023 and has since made more than 150 appearances for the club which includes two promotions.

However, the goalkeeper has decided to depart Aggborough although the club have not yet officially confirmed the player’s exit.

In a post on Instagram, Dibble said: “I honestly don’t know where to start with this one, but after an amazing few years, the time has come for me to move on from Kidderminster.

“This has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve had to make in my footballing career, but I feel like it’s the right one for me and my family.

“I just want to thank everyone at the club – the players, staff and fans – for an unbelievable three-plus years.

“There’s been loads of ups and downs along the way, but I’ve loved every minute of it.

“To play over 150 games for this club and finish with another promotion, sending  Kidderminster back to where they belong in the National League, makes me incredibly proud.

“The memories and friendships I’ve made at the club stay with me forever.

“It’s been a blast.”

Dibble recorded 17 clean sheets in the National League North this season, more than any other goalkeeper in the division, including a shutout in the play-off final against South Shields.

The news comes as a blow to newly-appointed Harriers boss Paul Wotton who will replace Adam Murray in the Aggborough dugout next season.
