Kidderminster Editorial 8th Oct, 2025 Updated: 9th Oct, 2025

WORLD class musicians will be taking centre stage when Kidderminster Choral Society performs its latest charity recital at St George’s Church, writes Shauna Begley.

The event will take place at 3pm on October 26.

An exceptional line-up of talent and a truly memorable afternoon is promised for the fundraising concert.

Flautist Lisa Beznozuki and cellist Richard Tunncliffe will join pianist and musical director Geoffrey Weaver and they will perform works by classical greats such as Haydn, Mendekssohn, Elgar, Bach and more.

All proceeds from the recital will help secure the future of the Kidderminster Choral Society and ensure generations to come will be able to participate in and enjoy live music. The society is committed to fostering excellence in choral and instrumental performance whilst raising vital funds to support its work in the community.

Chair of Kidderminster Choral Society, Caroline Lee, said everyone was thrilled to welcome Lisa and Richard, alongside Geoffrey, for the special recital.

“Their outstanding musicianship will provide the audience with an afternoon of unforgettable music, while supporting the society’s work to bring high quality choral performance to our community.”
